Tokyo, Japan, November 17, 2019 – World ParaVolley international referee Ritsuto Yamamichi of Japan has been awarded with a certificate by the Japan Sports Agency for his voluntary work with sitting volleyball.

The certificate is given to referees who are selected by the director of the Japan Sports Agency based on the recommendations of the Japan Olympic Committee and the Japan Sports Association for the Disabled.

Yamamichi, a teacher by profession, received the certificate signed by Japan Sports Agency commissioner Suzuki Daichi for his voluntary work as sports referee, who does not only contribute to the promotion of the sports in Japan but also contribute to the improvement of Japan’s international status in the sporting world.
