World ParaVolley has great pleasure in announcing that Gerflor’s Sport Court surface has been approved for use in Sitting Volleyball competitions worldwide.

World ParaVolley President Barry Couzner said that World ParaVolley was pleased to be able to support Gerflor – a French Company that also produces Taraflex – in promoting the Sport Court surface. Gerflor have provided the Sitting Volleyball Taraflex surface for both the 2016 Rio and 2012 London Paralympic Games and been very generous in donating courts to several World ParaVolley members after the Games.

Comprised of interlocked floor tiles, Sport Court is a versatile and safe surface that is easily stored and transported and can be made up to any court surface dimensions in a variety of colours.

Gerflor’s Sport Federations and Events Manager, Lionel Arlin said “The partnership between Gerflor and World ParaVolley is an important one for the Sitting Volleyball athletes and our Company as we strive to provide the very best surfaces for international competition.”
