Bangkok, Thailand, June 10, 2019 – Japan powered their way to beat Korea in the women’s tournament opener of the 2019 ParaVolley Asia Oceania Sitting Volleyball Championships at the Huamark Indoor Stadium on Monday.

The Japanese opened an aggressive display of offence to start their campaign, whipping their Korean adversaries with a 25-3 win in the opening set. After being limited to a single-digit score on the first set, the Korean side managed to increase their intensity in the second set. However, Japan put their opponents out of system to secure the second set at 25-12.

The Japanese continued to run their offence seamlessly, while the Koreans struggled with the first ball. With an effective run of their quick offence, the Japanese were able to mount a huge lead in the third set 12-2.
